The Gothic Wardrobe.
Posted by admin in 1

The best thing about being a Goth girl is the way I can dress. My wardrobe is full of all kinds of different styles and I love to mix and match. A lot of people think that when you wear Gothic stuff it just means black. This isn’t true. Yes, a lot of Goth clothing is black; but certainly not everything. For starters, I must have at least a dozen different coloured silk scarves.
I have some beautiful clothes that I have bought over the past couple of years. One of my favourite dresses is medieval styled. It is forest green with small cuffs and flared sleeves. I don’t have the best figure in the world but when I go out in this it makes me feel quite elegant!
My boyfriend (also a Goth) likes some of the other styles I wear. That’s fine with me, but I do like to vary my outfits as well. If it was left to him then I’d spend most of my time wearing lace-up corsets, fishnet stockings and over-knee boots… Mind you, he does like it when I wear my ‘Mortica Adams’ style black dress.
We go out at least twice every week. There’s a club not far away from where we live that plays a lot of the old Goth music like; ‘The Sisters of Mercy’, ‘The Cure’, ‘Bauhaus’ and ‘Siouxsie and the Banshees’. I don’t know how they stay in business to be honest because there aren’t that many other Goths where we live!
I need all of your help, I am trying to think of something for my sister for Christmas. When I was on the phone with her the other evening she said that she would like a new pair of saucony running shoes . Now I have absolutely no idea where to get these, any suggestions?
