Leave Pigeon’s Alone!

Poor pigeons, they really have a hard time of it don’t they? Never far from controversy, they get into trouble for going to the toilet, walking about in large numbers, and when they fly they even manage to upset people! It seems extremely unfair to me that the pigeon must be so hated, when the dove is so applauded as a symbol of peace and hope and other such opposite things.
And not only that but for many years they have been dogged with the label ‘flying rat’. Where did that come from? Do rats have beaks? No they do not! Do Pigeons have tails? Don’t be so ludicrous! So why oh why would they be labeled a rat? Do people not know that the average kitchen sink harbours more harmful bacteria than the downtrodden Pigeon?
I suggest that we take large numbers of the pigeon in and train them up, showing them how to live amongst men, and, if possible, how to bop their heads less annoyingly (though that may prove impossible, I fear). The carrier pigeon proved that training is worthwhile, so all I have to do now is entice the government to take on my scheme.
I can’t see this being all that difficult. If Susan Boyle can turn around the opinion of an entire country concerning the legitimacy of a certain kind of people—a problem which some might say dogs the UK an awful lot more than the problem of the pigeon—then we should have no problem with pigeons.
Next time you go out, don’t kick a pigeon, OK? And don’t chase them either! If you are a parent who allows your children to chase pigeons then know that you are only making them nervous! It’s no wonder they poop so much and have this nasty reputation, is it?
Last thing guys, I have just comprehended that I have been staring at my computer screen for the last few days and am really tired of my Battlestar Galactica Wallpaper, I think it is time for an alteration, these and more updates coming soon!
